Adventures in paint, acrylic, charcoal and pencil
Artist Bio
All About Robyn Ralton, artist
Upper Hutt, Wellington born and bred I started my artistic journey way back in the nineties I was always fascinated by the nature and animals that surrounded my childhood home. I began sketching what I saw in pencil. The energy and raw excitment of seeing my pictures form in front of me drove me to paint more. But my growing family took up more and more of my time and I had to lay down my brushes, my pencils, my charcoals for quite some time.

Then 2020, the desire to create art became an unyielding obligation to myself; to once again explore my creative consciousness. From small sketches to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself. I loose myself in whatever I paint, becoming one with the subject, hours disapear.
I’ve been lucky enough to have a partner who encourages me and has provided the spark to relight my artistic fire. Once I have a sufficient catalogue I shall be exhibiting in a solo capacity.
